Family Sessions
Each session is personalized to you! Prior to your session we will discuss your expectations, including the style of images, your family dynamics and your desires for the finished images. My goal is to get to know you and tailor a session to meet your specific needs. We will also decide on the location of your shoot, we can do in my studio, one of my beautiful regular outdoor locations or any indoor/outdoor location of your choice.
Session Flow
You can expect to spend about an hour shooting with me. I like to do a combination of formal posed images and more fun, relaxed, sometimes candid images. My goal is to keep it light and fun, so you are showing your real, natural smile. I will work with you on posing and angles that are most flattering. Feel free to bring an outfit change and most of all be ready to have fun!

Let's Shoot!
During your session time we can shoot as many subject configurations as you would like, many popular choices are to have images that include the entire family, just the kids, just the parents, kids individually, and we can even include a pet! Do you have props you want to include? Bring them along! My philosophy is let's shoot all possible options, it is better to have it and not need it verses needing and not having it.
The Investment
Each session has a $100 sitting fee which covers shooting time as well as my editing time. Each session includes an online viewing gallery and a print package.
If you prefer you can choose the digital option, which gives you 10 years of online cloud storage for all of your high resolution, edited images with unlimited downloads and print rights. The fee for this option is for $400, which includes the sitting.
Sessions over, now what?
I get busy editing! I look at every image taken during the shoot and eliminate unflattering or unusable images. I then edit each image to color correct, adjust lighting, saturation, contrast and more. I may also apply a photo filter to further enhance your image. Editing is an art form and takes time, so please understand it can take up to 2 weeks to get your proofs ready during my busiest seasons, but I will always try to get you a sneak peek within 24 hours!
